READ OUR 5 COMMITMENTS
Once elected, the Larson-Olusesi administration will pursue a variety of progressive initiatives designed to improve the university experience for every student at UNC Charlotte. We promise to uphold the following commitments in all of our current and future work as student advocates:
Feminine Empowerment. We commit to continuing to design and uplift platforms for women of various backgrounds and identities to achieve success and be heard across the Charlotte community.
Mental Health and Wellness. We commit to valuing our communities mental health and well-being as a staple of our campaign by providing workshops, activists and spaces to facilitate health and wellness.
Racial and Ethnic Justice. We commit to empowering the voices and ideas of all racial and ethnic groups in a time where tangible allyship and trust is few and far in between. It is of the utmost importance to us that we provide a diverse and inclusive environment.
Accountability. We commit to being accountable to you, and to all members of the UNC Charlotte community for our beliefs, actions and stances. We fundamentally believe that being accountable is the cornerstone of any trustworthy administration.
Execution. We believe that planning without execution leads to empty promises and broken trust. To achieve our goals, we believe that executing on what we say we will do is foundational to building an enduring legacy for the Charlotte community.
With these commitments in mind, we plan to tackle Charlotte's biggest problems head-on in several key departments and categories. Read more about each of them below.
